Please read these terms before using BankStmtConvert. By using the site, you agree to them.
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using bankstmtconvert.com (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The Service
BankStmtConvert is a free, browser-based tool that converts PDF bank statements into Excel or CSV files. Conversion happens locally in your browser; we do not receive your statement as part of the conversion.
3. Provided free and "as is"
The Service is provided free of charge and "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that extraction will be perfectly accurate for every statement layout.
4. Accuracy — verify your data
Automated extraction can contain errors. Always review the extracted data against your original statement before relying on it for accounting, tax, financial, or legal purposes. You are responsible for verifying accuracy. We accept no liability for parsing inaccuracies or for decisions made based on the output.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and only on documents you own or are authorised to process. You may not use the Service to violate any law or third party's rights, or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or overload the Service.
6. Intellectual property
The BankStmtConvert name, site design, and content are owned by us or our licensors. Open-source components (e.g. PDF.js, SheetJS) remain under their respective licenses. You retain all rights to the documents and data you process.
7. Third-party services & advertising
The Service is supported by advertising (including Google AdSense) and uses third-party services described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or linked sites.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BankStmtConvert and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
9. Changes
We may update the Service and these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
